UPCOM HPO-FE1 is a high-performance E1 optical fiber modem developed with a dedicated integrated circuit. on one side, the framed or unframed E1 signal is converted into an optical signal through a single-mode or multi-mode optical fiber, and on the other side, the optical fiber signal is re-converted into an E1 signal. Multi-mode fiber can reach up to 2km, and the maximum transmission distance of single-mode fiber is 120km.
The E1 port can be directly connected to the E1 port of the data terminal or the WAN port of the multiplexer, switch, router, and can form a private network or conduct a wide area network connection.
The E1 interface complies with ITU-T G.703 and G.704 protocols, supports BNC 75Ω and RJ45 120Ω connection modes, supports Framed and Unframed structures, the user can choose either E1 interface according to the connected environment, Provide maximum flexibility for network applications.
FE1 fiber-optic modems support looping back of local analog and digital interfaces, as well as remote looping back (only under Frame mode), and provide pseudo-random code detection, very convenient for device and line detection. The card-type FE1 fiber optic modem can be inserted into a 4.5U chassis(16slot). Through advanced SNMP functions, network engineers can manage any converter module from anywhere on the network and detect any link loss.
FE1 fiber modem can be interconnected with V35 fiber modem.
