SDH-8E1-4ETH is a new generation,enhanced SDH/MSTP device. It is a carrier-class, high compact platform and aimed for metro and SDH networks access. It can work as Add-Drop Multiplexer (ADM), Termination Multiplexer(TM), and also as a Gigabit Ethernet to SDH converter.
SDH-8E1-4ETH extremely strong cross-connection ability, it supports64K up to low / high order of SDH cross-connection. Not only the STM-1 / STM-4 optical port can work as the network uplink, it can also configure the n x E1 ports as the network uplink simultaneously. The co-working optic and E1 network uplinks provides customer a very flexibly networking configuration.
